Memory Lane

I stole this from my friend, April's blog & thought it would be fun, so please play along.:)

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Standing on my front porch talking about my hippie midwifery book -- I was so grateful to talk to someone who didn't shoot me down for reading and quoting from it! Thanks for listening and understanding. Then of course were the hours of talking at swim team practice about kids, hubbies at home, discipline ideas, varicose veins...you know the good stuff! The drive home from Allstars and the talk about "Adam falling" and why perfection is not what it's cracked up to be is high on my list of favorite memories with you too. I just like talking to you and gleaning your words of wisdom!

Are you sure you're ready for one of my crazy memories?!! Okay, think lost keys in our couch and sending them to every hot guy at Ricks. Running around Rexburg with pantyhose and paper bags over our heads so that we won't be recognized by all those hot guys when we have to retrieve the "keys to our heart" for the REALLY mad boyfriend. The mean lady that made us remove the paper bags and pantyhose because we were trespassing after curfew at a boys only apartment complex. :)

Most of my memories of you have to do with primary, suprise suprise. We were at Allie's making the gifts for the teachers and Jana and I had these little mouse sanders and you pulled out your mega sander and whipped through all the blocks so fast! You know how to get a job done quick, and you always have creative fun ideas!

Umm when you totally saved me by being a clam voice for me when we had the 'entertainment center' incident! Seriously, you helped out more than you will know..by being so clam, helping me know what to do, and helping me not feel bad about it! I appreciated it so much! I loved that you were so close and I knew I could count on you at the drop of a phone call. Thanks again!

Let's see. Most of my memories of you are from Ricks College days! I think one of the funniest has to be that VERY cold winter night when Val went running half naked across the street - I believe you joined her in her state of undress or was it Heather. Some memory I have!!
I also remember when we went hiking for that date/dance and Evan and that weird guy that hadn't cleaned his suit pants in forever had separated from us and they had been following us for a while and we were so embarrassed because we had been talking about some very private issues!! So funny. Good memory!
