Taneal told him that it was not.
Spencer, "Oh. So today we can go slow?"
Taneal then explained to Spencer what fast Sunday was. (How did I miss this? My children are all fully educated in the gospel. They know everything.)
And Spencer's comment with a look of shock on his face, "YOU CHOOSE TO BE HUNGRY? WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO DO THAT?"
Maybe one day he will understand.

Cody doesn't just choose to be hungry. He chooses to vocally whine to anyone within hearing that he is STARVING!!! And we only make him skip one meal at this point. By the time he's 12 (a year an a half) he'll need to fast both meals, but that's only if he makes it that far. LOL!
