Methergine® (methylergonovine maleate) is a semi-synthetic ergot alkaloid used for the prevention and control of postpartum hemorrhage.
It is in the same family as pitocin.
My recovery isn't going as smooth as I hoped. The doctor prescribed Methergine and it did not work. It caused a lot of leg cramping and flu-like symptoms. Didn't fix the problem. Glad I don't have any more pills to take. It was a horrible last 2 days. Hopefully we can figure out another way to a speedy recovery.
I want to play with my children. I want to enjoy them. I want to clean my own house. I'm tired of taking it easy.
